Title: ***SNOW***

OMG! So much SNOW!!!! SNOW~SNOW~SNOW~SNOW~blizzard like conditions~SNOW SNOW~SNOW~SNOW!!!
The kids were let out 2 hrs. early today, so I been driving in the SNOW for the last 5 hours running errands. (i know, i should of done it yesterday), but then wut fun would that be?
K, don't get me wrong, when I got home I did not want to have to shovel me a path from the car to the front door. Nor did I want to shovel the grass so my dog has a place to go potty. But I did love going out and playing on the quads. Then of course came the snowball fight with the girls.
All I keep hearing is lets go SLEDDING! o.O
Told them maybe tomorrow when we can actually see, but I highly doubt we will make it to the top of the hill tomorrow to even sled down it. Told them to let's just bundle up and roll down the hill! :D
They didn't seem to like that idea to much.
I just know they wanna see me wipe out! o.O
Last yr. when we went, I was going down on an inner tube. When I laid acrossed it and got ready to push off someone landed on top of me with such force, and off we went! Sliding down this steep @ss hill, someone laying on my back, my coat, sweatshirt, shirt somehow got lifted up and my stomach was rubbing snow all the way down. SNOW, in my face, up my shirt, and ummm a snowburn?!? on my belly
Yeah here to come find out after we crash landed, it was my 16yr. old nephew. And he and everyone was laughing so hard, they were crying.
Ah, the SNOW, the memories! ^_^
So, who wants to go SLEDDING!! :D :D :D

Sassy that does sound like fun but here in the southeast we are getting rain and rain and more rain. My horses are standing in about 4"'s of mud. Went to get them from the field to put them in stalls, my boot got stuck in the mud, I fell behind first and it covered my backside totally. Still had the lead rope attached to the horse and he was standing over me waiting for me to get up. I'm just glad he liked me and stood still. I think we both were a little surprised at that move. After I got up, I had to take my boot off to get it unstuck, horse moved and my foot went into the mud soaking my sock. Oh well it could have been worse. At least I learned that the horse won't run off from me if I fall off. He'd probably be to busy laughing.

Sassy dear I believe I'll pass on the sledding. Nine years of North Dakota when I was growing up provided me with all the fun and all the injuries I needed. Four of us brothers growing up together trying to figure out who would do the dumbest stunt pretty well cured me. I'll never forget the time I won first place for who could get closest to the tree. o.O o.O o.O 8|

Good morning Sassy! We lucked out this time most of the snow went north of us. However we did have numerous teenage boys spend the night at our house, at one point they decided it would be "cool" to go outside and make snow angels in their boxers. Isn't it amazing how fast teenagers can scamper in snow at the site of a camera. Hope your day is a warm and good one!

I've been watching all that snow come down!.....on the news :D Always you must be somewhere right between me and DI. I was kinda hoping Kentucky and Tennessee would get some snow but it looks way worse out East.
When I cut myself at Christmas time the thing I was most worried about, after getting firewood in, was how I was going to cope with all the snow, and it hasn't really snowed here since. Like Biker Babe I've only had the blower out once. Usually by this time we have 5 or 6 feet fall but now it's just a thick layer of ice. We made a snowman last week and went to the pits to sled but we just ended up sliding down the icy hills on our butts without a sled. And afterwords MM, big steamy mugs of cocoa.
Our winter festival last week, Tip-up-Town, was a washout. Some people came from downstate and the lake was loaded with trucks and quads but they couldn't ride their snowmobiles and that's the big draw really. We have literally thousands of miles of groomed trails but this year there wasn't a sled in the woods. Pretty sad for the local businesses.
I did get to see some pretty girls in bikinis though:) If we had more "polar bears" that looked like that, people wouldn't be so worried about the cold ;)
Anyway Sassy good luck getting to the top of the hill and have a ball coming back down ^_^

You guys are great.
That is funny angel. My daughter did the same thing the other day. She went hiking in the woods with grandma and got her boot stuck in the mud and fell over, boot came off her foot and she was covered in mud.
Then today, she decided to go play in the snow and got stuck, lost her boot again, crying for me to help her her foot was freezing, and here I went to go pull her out and fell. Dug her boot out shoved it back on her foot and she ran in the house.
They haven't asked to go sledding yet, probably because we got 2 foot of snow in front of our door. But I just came in from shoveling all that damn snow and digging my car out. I only have the old fashion shovel it your fuken self or it won't get done. I don't get a snowblower like BB and HD. :/ My toes are still numb from being out there. (lol)

bullshit, atleast you didn't have a dad who used u as his personal ginney pig. We went sledding one time, and of course dad and his buddies want to try this hill called suicide hill, but before they would go down they wanted to see wut would happen. So they put me on a giant inner tube and sent me on my way. About the second drop off the tube went out from under me, i landed chest on the ground, knocked the wind out of me and finished going the rest of the way rolling all the way to the bottom. My dad is up the hill yelling at me to hurry back up. I finally get up there and they are laughing, asking how the ride was. Like HA HA, u couldn't tell?!? So now was their turn and karma have it, those four guys piled on that tube, flew down the hill, two fell off and the other two went so far that the landed in the creek. :D So I yelled "HOW'S THE RIDE?" Dad didnt think it was funny, he told me to come on we was going home cuz he was soaking wet and freezing. xP

Well DI, I guess that is better then going out and making yellow smiley faces in the snow! ^_^ Hope u got atleast one good picture of them. (lol)

MM, yeah I could use a nice hot cup of hot chocolate, with them vanilla mallows in it.

Your in for a ride warped, climb aboard! :D I let u go and I will take pictures xP

Sometime u gonna have to come over HH and make a memorie with me in the snow. I know i would get a kick out of u going down, cussing and screaming all the way! <3 :D

hd, me and u couldn't go down together, our luck both of us be going to the hospital, so just one at a time. Hell that prolly wouldn't work either, one come to save the other and somehow get hurt. But you know they say "it isn't funny til somebody gets hurt, then it's fuking hilarious!" :D

Sassy the funny thing is this is the first we have had a snow blower and guess what this is the first year we haven't needed it..
Wanna borrow it.
The snow you all are getting isn't reaching the Canadian boarder .Weather man the air here is too dry and something to do with a low air mass.
I have had my fill of snow and downed power lines. I feel for you guys.
But have to admit it's nice for a change
