My advice would be to broach it with your girlfriend. Lightly feel her out on the topic. If she seems truly open, start discussing realistic rules (things allowed & not allowed, a 'safe' word in case one of you gets uncomfortable and wants to stop, etc), then start scoping for someone that you both feel the right energy with.
But take into account what anon above said...you're taking a risk and need to be Strong & confident in yourselves and your relationship.
Your other choice listed...if you decide to get two new girls, do your girlfriend the favor of ending the relationship first. Relationships aren't just about fucking and getting off. Love and respect are even more important. I think many women understand the excitement a man might feel being with two women at the same time. My wife and I have been down this road a few times ourselves, sometimes teasing, sometimes more seriously, but always with the understanding that it would just be fun, not some dark expression of dissatisfaction. I think that you should ask your girlfriend, now a days you might be surprised at what her answer maybe. If she says yes, try to have terms that she will be in control of, like she gets to pick the girl, a girl that you do not know, let her know that you will not have any contact after the threesome with the other female ( make her feel secure),let her know that if she does this for you that you will help her carry out her fantasies that she would like to explore.
